Both women are skilled grapplers, and also quite adept at using their power to brawl. In this contest, arms and legs are used as both weapons as well as targets, with both wrestlers suffering greatly… at time simultaneously, such as when they each torture one another with dual ankle locks!
For Shelby in particular, who rarely meets an opponent she can’t force to submit, this match was exceptionally exasperating, as Katey endured hold after grueling hold. After one such maneuver… one guaranteed to make almost any other woman scream her surrender… the Irish lass endures, causing a flummoxed Beach to angrily roar, “You’re supposed to submit to that!”
Finally, long past the point where pain and exhaustion would have driven others to quit, one wrestler puts her last vestiges of strength into a hold, and in a voice that’s equal parts command and pleading, screams “SUBMIT!” to her rival.
