No one needs to be told that the British and the Irish don’t particularly get along with one another much of the time. The same goes for their wrestlers, as Katey Harvey ventures across the Irish Sea to Manchester to challenge one of England’s finest, Pippa L’Vinn… and from the very start, there is no love lost between these two women!
Both are skilled technical grapplers, but each is also an experienced…and all too willing…brawler. Veteran Pippa most definitely has her hands full with younger, more powerful Katey, and neither holds anything back in this battle, which frequently threatens to spiral out of control.
The match finally ends when one wrestler, pushed to the brink of exhaustion, goes for broke with a reverse figure four head scissors, her body trembling as she pours the last of her strength into the hold. Her victim, after struggling valiantly, finally taps out… but the winner won’t release! Instead she keeps it clamped on until her rival is knocked out!
Katey Harvey makes a magnificent debut for the PGWA in a match you most certainly will not want to miss!
