Description
Rhonda “Monster Ripper” Singh was not merely a highly successful wrestler…she was a veritable force of nature in the ring!
One of the most powerful women to ever step between the ropes, she was also unexpectedly quick and agile. And, as a pupil of the legendary Mildred Burke, Singh was a highly accomplished grappler. While she never achieved the fame she deserved in North America, she was one of the biggest foreign stars to work in Japan for nearly two decades.
Sadly, the world lost Rhonda in 2001, and memories of her career slipped into the mists of time.
The PGWA had the very great pleasure of working with Singh in the late 1990s, and now, for the very first time, those matches are available as downloads!
“The Power of Rhonda Singh” features two matches between Rhonda and San Antonio Rose, and although the Texas cowgirl was one of the strongest women in the PGWA at the time, in each of these matches she is absolutely overpowered and dominated by the cruel Canadian powerhouse! We don’t believe anyone before or since had overwhelmed Rose so utterly as Rhonda did.
You will also enjoy a rare interview shot with Singh, as well as post-match remarks from San Antonio Rose.
For anyone who appreciates the history of women’s professional wrestling, this will be a very welcome addition to your personal library. And for those who simply want to see a mighty legend at the peak of her powers, you’ll love this as well!
