Sometimes you just can’t control yourself. Take Allie Parker…she came to this match ready to defend her PGWA belt against Buggy Nova. She had trained hard in preparation and developed an intricate battle strategy. But then something…happened.
Maybe it was the fact that Buggy (accompanied by her “tag partner”, a Chucky doll) seemed to instantly win over the crowd. Perhaps it was because, having fought Nova in the past, Parker was overwhelmed by anger from that earlier encounter. Or it could just have been some arcane instant dislike between them. Whatever the reason, our sweet-natured Champion suddenly attacked her adversary before the bell, and what was planned as a pro wrestling match became a back alley brawl!
The fight spends as much time outside of the ring as in, but no matter where the action roams, Allie frequently finds herself in trouble, as Buggy holds back nothing. Even the Champ’s efforts to use weapons grabbed at ringside, such a a steel trash can lid, often backfire against her. And the crowd cheers Buggy on, infuriating Parker all the more. At one point, she gets into an angry shouting match with a female fan at ringside, which proves to be a dangerous distraction.
The melee finds its way back into the ring, and while we as a rule don’t usually give away the winner, in this case we feel it’s worth the fans knowing that Allie emerges victorious, but not by out-wrestling her opponent. Instead, she has to knock Buggy unconscious in order to pin her!
But even then, the Champ can’t enjoy her victory, because it’s then that the fan she was arguing with earlier decides to jump into the ring and get involved. And it turns out this woman is a local MMA fighter, and she swiftly has the startled Allie in a chokehold!
Order is restored and Allie manages to retreat back to the locker room. But this was definitely a night she won’t ever forget…no matter how badly she wants to!
