That strategy has been a staple of professional wrestling, at least for this reviewer, as far back as the Andersons and probably even further. But the Anderson example seems especially germane here, as Nemesis starts out this contest by targeting the left arm of Heather Owens.
One mistimed trip into the ropes, however, turns the tide in Heather’s direction. And while the action might stay in the ring and free of foreign objects, Owens wastes little time living up to the “Hardcore” part of her name. There’s little scientific about the assault that follows, with stiff kicks to the stomach and liberal usage of the ropes… with maybe the occasional wrestling hold sprinkled in for flavor.
One thing we should all know about Nemesis by this point: she won’t go down without a fight, and the tide of the battle twists and turns a few times before it’s over. Indeed, just when one woman appears poised to claim victory, her opponent finds a way to put this one in the “W” column for herself. But which is which?
