Jennifer Thomas makes her PGWA debut, taking on Irish battler Lucky O’Shea! Prior to the match, hardbodied Jennifer confidently predicts, “Lucky O’Shea will not be having a lucky day today!”
And in the opening moments, it appears that Jennifer will make good on that prediction, as she muscles Lucky back into the corner and then works her arm. But O’Shea has come far in the PGWA by defying expectations and shocking opponents who have underestimated her, and very quickly it’s Lucky who has her adversary in trouble!
Well-renowned for her fantastically powerful legs, Jennifer puts them to good use in this one. However, Lucky proves she’s got some lethal limbs as well, as Thomas discovers to her painful regret! As the match wears on, both women display not only deft knowledge of the art of grappling, but also keen willingness to bend and/or ignore the rules as they see fit…and pepper their efforts with plenty of taunting. And of course, each possesses an indomitable will; at one point, valiantly struggling free of a submission hold, Lucky screams, “I want to win!”
Lots of punishing holds in this one, as each seeks to torture the other. Ultimately, one beauty falls prey to a vicious variation of the Figure Four, and she’s made to repeatedly slap the canvas and sob her submission.
Anytime a newcomer makes her entrance into the hallowed halls of the PGWA, it’s an occasion well worth paying attention to, so you know you won’t want to miss this one, sports fans!
