DeBella is one of the most exciting newcomers in the PGWA today, and Tracy Taylor was, of course, until recently the PGWA Champion. They both met up in Alabama on this Global Championship Wrestling show to face one another in this PGWA-sponsored match.
For DeBella, a victory here would be a tremendous career boost, while for Tracy, winning would help erase a tiny bit of the sting from her title loss to Nemesis. Both women ignored suggestions that this was not the right time nor place for either of them to fight, and for one of them, the effort would prove indeed to be too much, too soon.
Plenty of Old School action in this one, as each beauty tests herself against the other with a wide array of holds and counter-holds. DeBella punishes Taylor with a devastating headscissors, while the Hawaiian leaves her adversary’s senses reeling with an airplane spin. The action even spills out of the ring as the battle grows more intense.
The vicious side of Tracy comes out as she slams her opponent’s back down across her knee, then cruelly digs her elbow hard into DeBella’s solar plexus, demanding that she submit! And when that doesn’t work, she tortures her with a kneeling abdominal stretch/stomach claw combo! But DeBella is far from helpless… ! She batters Taylor with punches to the face and kicks to the belly!
Ultimately, one woman manages to get the shoulders of the other to the mat for the 1-2-3… although the loser angrily complains the other girl held her tights!
