Having made her UK bones against Lisa Fury (X10), Aussie superstar Toni Storm finds herself going up against Britain’s best, none other than Pippa L’Vinn.
Having carefully studied her opponent’s match with Lisa, L’Vinn knows full well just how skilled the blonde is as a grappler. Thus, very early into their confrontation, Pippa throws off the kid gloves and unleashes the roughhouse tactics she is infamous for, confident that this strategy will overwhelm the younger, less-experienced Storm.
But what the Brit didn’t reckon on is the fact that when an Australian is riled, their instincts very easily lead them to the rough and tumble. And so, while Toni went into this match fully determined to wrestle cleanly, once she knew the rules that L’Vinn was playing by, the blonde easily… almost gleefully… matched tit for tat!
Longtime fans will be surprised at the brutal pounding which Pippa takes in this one, and while the brunette more than dishes out what she takes, it’s still a rare sight indeed to see L’Vinn on the receiving end as often as she is here. And Storm is relentless in her assault, at one point whipped Pippa into the corner with such force, a turnbuckle shatters and the middle ropes sag from the ringposts! One can only imagine the amount of pain Pippa’s spine took from that impact!
But Toni isn’t simply a brawler… she can wrestle technically with the best of them. Indeed, for such a relative newcomer to the sport, she is an expert at using her entire body as a weapon, as well as turning her opponents own body’s against themselves.
Toni traveled halfway around the world to challenged Britain’s best, and Pippa wanted a challenge worthy of her own legend. And believe us, both women got just what they wanted… in very painful spades!
