There was great anticipation over this match, as it marked the continuation of Christie Ricci's latest return to the PGWA, as well as the debut of her opponent with the organization.

And that opponent made it clear even before the bell rang that she had attitude to spare. Although she has been established in the ring as "Trenesha", she decided on this night to go by the name of Naomi Banks, and only by that name. Of course, that didn't stop some fans, upon catching sight of her 6'0" frame as she strode out to the ring, to bravely start up a "RuPaul" chant! Suffice it to say, Ms. Banks was not amused... and she aimed to take out her frustration on Ricci!

Of course, at 5'10", Christie isn't one to be intimidated by her statuesque adversary, and they both waged a battle that veritably shook the ring!

Banks opened up with a Side Suplex on the blond, but Christie counters with a Waistlock Takedown. Naomi is right back up with a Headlock. Ricci rolls through with a bridge for a cover, but only gets a two count.

Banks kneelifts her opponent, then hit's a Hairpull Takedown and does a split on top of Christie for two! Ricci breaks it, but is slung by the hair for a two count, then finds her arms painfully Butterflied. Continuing to show impressive submission skills, Naomi Horsecollars Ricci's leg, painfully stretching it out. Christie works up, but gets Spinbustered for her effort, and only barely manages to pull out at the count of two.

However, finally able to re-mount her offense, Ricci nails Banks with a textbook DDT and goes for the cover, but she is only able to get a two count. Naomi misses a running boot, and Christie Leg Lariats her for two.

The advantage swings back and forth now, as Banks Sideslams Ricci for two, but the blond is up to hit a Neckbreaker, also gaining a two count. Christie goes for a match-ending DVD, but Naomi slides behind her and rolls her up…and putting her boots on the ropes for leverage! The referee at last is able to slap his hand to the canvas for a third time, and the match is over.

Although her victory is hardly 'pristine', there's no denying that it's an impressive one for Ms. Banks. She managed to beat one of the most experienced women in the PGWA, and she did it with authority. This indicates that Naomi quite possibly has a great future ahead of herself in the PGWA... and doesn't potentially bode well for many of her opponents.
