LadySports ::: MOLLY MAKES HER RETURN

The PGWA and AIWF wrestling promotions joined forces on Saturday, February the 23rd to bring Orlando, Florida's own Molly McShane to Mt. Airy, North Carolina and back to the PGWA after nearly a decade. Facing the "Wild Irish Rose" was PGWA newcomer Ms Tiff, hailing from Virginia, and thus making her the 'local girl' for the Mid-Atlantic crowd. Fans were excited to see the girls step into the ring, and they let them know they were either with them or against them... LOUDLY. And it didn't take a rocket scientist to know who the fans were for in a big way!

The experienced McShane quickly gained the attention of the fans... as well as Miss Tiff... by controlling much of the match, but Ms Tiff wasn't about to let the redhead win this one without a fight, and she battled back hard every chance she got.

After a rousing match, Molly managed to pin Ms Tiff... but only with some cheating that the ref, naturally, didn't see. The fans were furious with that call, and of course so was Ms Tiff, who rightly realized that her opponent had to break the rules to beat her, and therefore the blond had a real chance to beat the veteran redhead in a fair fight. McShane, victory in hand, dismissively referred to Tiff as a "Wanna-be Brittany outta rehab," and, incredibly, denied having cheated to win.

Brimming with confidence, Molly made a challenge to Tiff for another match soon, and Miss Tiff readily accepted.

"A win is a win", said Molly in the locker room during a post-match interview. So, after some 10 years away from the PGWA....it's business as usual in the ring for Molly McShane, one of the PGWA's most nefarious rulebreakers of yore.

Fans will want to follow Miss Tiff, who put up a brilliant fight only to lose this match due to her opponent's underhanded tactics. Tiff is a rookie this year, but has been making her mark in Virginia. Next time, knowing what to expect from McShane, the blond may just surprise her rival and even up the feud with a win of her own!
