LADYSPORTS: Welcome, Jaime D! When did you first get into the sport?
JAIME D: I started training in 2001.

LS: Who trained you?
JD: Scott D'amore, Petey Willams, Tyson Dux, Joe E. Legend, Johnny Devine.

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?
JD: I was a fan my whole life and just felt in my heart it's what I was born to do!

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?
JD: I do enjoy the bodybuilding world also. I go to the Arnold Classic every year, and Mr. Olympia shows. But I respect and love all athletes who work hard and do their thing!

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality, likes, dislikes, and strengths?
JD: My attitude is very humble and grateful and respectful. I am very passionate and all heart when it comes to performing as a wrestler. I do it for the fans and hope to inspire them and entertain them and make them feel some kind of emotion when I am out there. I try to connect with them as much as possible. I am very fortunate for every opportunity that comes my way and always striving to evolve and improve on all areas as a wrestler.

LS: What is your most marked characteristic as a wrestler?
JD: Entertaining and intense!

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
JD: One hour of interval cardio first thing in the AM. Go to wrestling practice, then hit the weights and more cardio at night. So basically, training twice a day at the gym and going to wrestling practice 3 times a week. Everything is important in my workout... cardio for stamina and burning fat, weights for definition and to look toned and tight. I do polymeric training as well now to help with speed, agility and power.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?
JD: I would have to say very intense and all power!

LS: What moves are you best known for?
JD: Killer clothesline, DDT, spear, Sharpshooter, suplex, bodyslams, elbow drop, and in Japan for my finish I was using Brock Lesnar's F5. I really liked that one!

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
JD: Yes, I have torn both ACL's in my knees: In 2005 I tore my right ACL and had surgery and rehabbed it back. In 2006 I tore my left ACL, but it's all good now! My knees were my injuries but I have to keep them exercised daily and take good care of them so they will allow me to wrestle and keep going strong!

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?
JD: Probably the girls in Japan for sure! They are very disciplined and focused and very, very good over there! They call it 'strong style' but you feel everything they give you. But I hope to have tougher opponents in the future, as I would like to feel challenged in the ring!

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
JD: Winning the belt at a woman's tournament in Canada against Nattie Neidhart just after she signed with the WWE. I was her last match in the indy scene, and we had a great match! It was an honour and pleasure to work with such an outstanding female wrestler and win with her family's move, the Sharpshooter! And winning the AWA woman's title belt in Japan against Nanae Takahashi. Those two wins were awesome!

LS: What was your worst loss?
JD: Losing to Gail Kim in TNA.

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
JD: Trish Stratus, but since she has retired I would say Awesome Kong! She would definitely be a challenge, and I think you need a real challenge to help elevate your game! Makes you dig deep and really give it your all! And one more would definitely be Chyna, and I hope to see her make a comeback one day and to be the woman she once was before all the craziness that she went through the last few years.

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most?
JD: When you and the person you are wrestling have charisma together and can make real magic together and the crowd feels it, and you go out there and tear the roof down!!!

LS: What sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
JD: I always get a positive and supportive reactions, usually like 'Wow, Cool, Awesome,' etcetera....

LS: What is so special about this sport to you?
JD: All of the wrestler's who give to it all they can and don't worry about what they can get back. Give your best and do it for the right reasons! Give unconditionally to wrestling, and do it from your heart.

LS: What are your fans like?
JD: I really enjoy hanging out and talking to the fans. They all truly love wrestling soooo much! They are usually very supportive, and truly genuine people!

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
JD: Have more love to go around!

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?
JD: All over the USA, Canada, and Japan, and I'm heading to Europe soon! I have had several indy titles, but probably the biggest one was the AWA Woman's Title in Japan. I worked for TNA as Sirelda.

LS: What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?
JD: I think there are so many and great talented females in the sport now, and I feel that woman's wrestling is coming back strong, so hopefully there are opportunities and spots for everyone who works hard and truly gives it their all! The ones who do that will be around a long time, and the ones for whom success is just handed to them... well, they come and go.

LS: What was your most unforgettable moment in the sport?
JD: My match with Nattie Neidhart. She was incredible to work with and is truly an amazing person! Hope to get the chance to work with her in the future!

LS: Any regrets?
JD: NO WAY!

LS: What would you do if you couldn't be in wrestling?
JD: Motivate and inspire others to live their dreams and life to the fullest. So, a motivational speaker.

LS: What is your personal motto?
JD: 'Do you have what it takes? Prove it!' If you think you can, you can... and if you think you can't, then you can't! Believe in yourself! Always strive to be better and better!

LS: What would make you most happy in life?
JD: Traveling the world as a famous wrestler and helping and inspiring others to live their dreams!

LS: Anything else you'd like to add?
JD: I love this business and am going to do everything in my power to make it here. I mean, really make it! I have respect for everyone who works hard, and I have so much respect for all female wrestlers... they are truly unique individuals! There are so many great talents in the business today. I am very blessed and honoured to be part of the wrestling business, and everyone who helps me get opportunities, and to all the fans that come to the shows and support us... thank you!
