Nope, we're not talking about a bluegrass song... we are talking breakdown on a country road going through the bluegrass state on the way to Tennessee. This is what happened to Christie Summers Saturday as she was heading to Millersville for her scheduled PGWA tag team match.

As bell time grew closer and closer, Christie had called only to say she was getting nowhere fast, thanks to mechanical problems with her car, and the folks in that area were not too friendly, hospitable, or downright helpful at all.

Wisely, before hitting the road on Saturday morning, Summers had had her oil changed. Unfortunately, it seems that the dimwit who changed her oil didn't tighten up her oil plug right, and it leaked and leaked and leaked until she finally had to stop in Kentucky. Would any of the fine residents of that area help? NO! What's a girl to do? All she got was that no one there would even lift a finger to help her. All the parts stores were closed... service stations are a thing of the past, at least in that area... and that one mechanic across the way from the country store only said "We ain't open until Monday!"
No way she could make it to the show, and so, she had to have someone come from St. Louis to get her to take her back home. How crushingly disappointing that, because of one guy failing to do his job right, and some local residents refusing to help out a young stranger in need, Christie had to miss her match. Just as disappointed were the fans who came to the SAW show specifically to see her wrestle.

SNAFUs like this happen in wrestling a lot, and the fans don't always hear about them, Christie wants the fans to know the reason why she didn't appear in Millersville. And she also wants to make it crystal clear that she wants to come back there as soon as she can! Christie was most definitely looking forward to teaming up with Lexi Lane against Josie and Katie Syren...

And so, with Christie Summers out of action, the decision was made to have Josie and Lexi Lane face one another in a singles match, and to bring someone else in to face Katie. Unfortunately, more bad luck piled up as absolutely no one was was in the area was available to work on Saturday night on such short notice. And so, Katie had to simply be a spectator for the evening; word is she was grumbling in the locker room that Christie staged all of this "because she's afraid to step into the ring with me again!" As we at the PGWA know this is the furthest things from the truth, we can only imagine that once Summers hears of this, she'll be more eager to fight Syren again than ever before!
