Sweet Destiny has traveled many miles this year for promoters. Her name has gotten much recognition for her dedicated effort to become a great wrestler. It was announced Nov.20th, that Destiny had been selected as the 1999 Rookie Of The Year. Unfortunately, she had been told about the award one month prior, and was asked to come receive it in person. Fans, officials at Special Events and the PGWA were quite disappointed when she didn't show up at the Eye of the Storm event.
Instead, she sent a fax with her statement.
"So you've named me the 1999 Rookie Of The Year? So what! I've got more important things to do today than to come down to Whistle Stop, NC to accept some crummy award! If you had any sense, you'd recognize my talent and greatness by taking the PGWA title away from that dinosaur, Sue Green, and giving it to someone more worthy...ME! In the meantime don't insult me with this stupid little Rookie Award again!
