During Christie Ricci's tour of Mexico to defend her LLF Championship, she found herself challenged to a GrudgeMatch by Polly-Star. Standing across the ring prior to the start of their Best of 3 Submission Match, Christie doubtless could not think that this was going to be a severe mismatch, as she towered over the diminutive Latina. It was a bit of a mismatch all right, but not in precisely the way Ricci had expected...! The first fall was owned, start to finish, by Polly-Star. For all of Ricci's size and strength, she was like a stumbling giantess as her opponent put her down to the mat again and again, using her lightning-fast speed and agility to confound the blond, and keeping the frustrated champ helpless on the canvas with painful jointlocks. Finally, seemingly tiring of embarrassing the Americano this way, Polly-Star forces Christie to tap out. Between falls, Ricci is humiliated by the way her opponent toyed with her. But from the look in her eyes, you know she's not about to let that happen again. Polly-Star expects to wrap the match up quickly with the second fall, and doubtless intends to make a formal challenge for Ricci's belt afterwards. But in Round Two, Christie proves her wrong on the first point, and causes the brunette to seriously question the wisdom of the second! Although the advantage seesaws back and forth, Ricci clearly has the momentum, and dazzles Polly-Star with some complex grappling moves of her own. The Luchadora's submission is a moment of supreme satisfaction for the blond. But Christie can't rest on her laurels just yet...there's still the third and final fall to decide the match, and both women are now more determined than ever to not merely win, but to beat the other so thoroughly that there can be no question as to who the better wrestler truly is!
