The results were tallied in our voting for 'Match of the Year' and the hands down winner was the Christie Ricci vs Persephone match from 'Summer Heat'. It should come as no surprise to anyone that these two ladies would combine to bring the fans such an awesome battle. Christie, after all, is a former Rookie of the Year, and Persephone was previously honored as Most Promising Wrestler, so when these two step into the ring together, it's a foregone conclusion that it will be a good match. Add to the mix the fact that they have been engaged in a brutal running feud with one another, and what was a good match becomes positively combustible! There's a very good reason why their confrontation was hailed as the very best match of what many consider to be the PGWA's very finest live event, SUMMER HEAT, as anyone who witnessed it in person or on tape will attest to.
